Canada's Largest Organization of Certified Golf Teaching Professionals

Welcome to the CGTF Website!

The Canadian Golf Teachers Federation trains and certifies golf teaching professionals. It was established in 1992 and has since grown to become the largest organization of strictly golf teaching professionals in the nation with over 1,500 members.

Participants are taught how to teach every aspect of the game. Certification is available to anyone interested in teaching golf as a full time or part time profession.

CGTF members occupy all aspects of the golf teaching industry in Canada including positions as head professionals at private and public courses, high school and college coaches, teaching professionals at driving ranges, indoor facilities, and entrepreneurs that have established their own private teaching businesses.

As ambassadors of the sport, the common thread that ties CGTF members together is a love for the game and a desire to add to its growth and popularity.
